Common questions
- How often should panels be cleaned in Pakistan?
- In most cities every 6 to 8 weeks through the dry season, and sooner after a dust storm or nearby construction. Our soiling model watches your generation and tells us when it is actually worth a visit rather than working to a fixed calendar.
- Why has my generation dropped?
- The usual causes are soiling, a shading change such as a new wall or tree, a string that has dropped out, or an inverter derating in heat. A system health check separates them and puts a rupee figure on each.
- What is a performance ratio?
- It is the share of available sunlight your system actually converts. A healthy system in Pakistan sits around 80 to 85 percent. Below that, something specific is wrong and is worth finding.
- Does cleaning really pay for itself?
- When soiling loss passes about 8 percent, yes, usually inside one billing cycle. Below that it generally does not, which is why we do not push routine cleaning at every site.
- How long does net metering take?
- Typically 6 to 12 weeks from application to meter installation, depending on the DISCO. We prepare the file and chase it, and the status stays visible in your portal.
